How to add and edit your Zoyo signature on GMAIL:

Note: watch the video in full screen by clicking the “full screen” button in the lower right hand corner after clicking play.

1. Open a second window so that you can reference these instructions and access the settings page at the same time. To open a second window click on File then click New Tab or New Window. Alternatively, you can click on the new tab button directly in your browser as shown in the video.
2. Log-in to your Zoyo email through gmail (www.gmail.com)
3. Click the gear icon in the upper right, then select Settings.
4. Scroll down to the section titled Signature.
5. Switch windows/tabs to the email instructions and signature template.
6. Select the signature template at the bottom of this page with your cursor by clicking and dragging (like you would with text).
7. Right Click and click copy.
8. Switch back to the Settings window/tab.
9. Right Click in the Signature box and click paste.
10. Select the “first” text by clicking and dragging and type in your first name. (Please note, if you do not select the text and replacing it by typing, but use your backspace key instead, you may erase the formatting and experience problems. I suggest selecting the text like in the video)
11. Repeat step 10 for your last name, title, cell number, and office number. Be sure to select the text to replace with your own information as stated above and shown in the video. The logo and text underneath the logo are already correctly formatted and do not need editing.
12. Scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click Save Changes.
13. Send a test email to yourself to double check your signature and settings.

Signatures are separated from the rest of your message by two dashes. To see a signature in Gmail, click the Show trimmed content button at the bottom of the message.

Please note:

• If you notice extra characters (such as * or >) being added to your signature after you send mail, it’s because some versions of Gmail don’t support rich text and we’ve converted some of your formatting. For example, when you send from Gmail using Safari on iPhone, any text you bolded in your signature will be marked with asterisks (i.e., example will show as *example*).
• For rich text signatures, the maximum amount of characters you can use is 10,000 (including HTML markup).
• If you send mail “from” multiple addresses in Gmail, you can set a different signature for each address in the General tab of your settings. Choose the second radio button in the “Signature:” section, use the drop-down menu to choose the appropriate address and set the signature you want.
• If you’re editing your signature and only have an option to create a plain text signature, this is due to your current compose message settings. Click Compose to create a new message, then click the Rich formatting option in the message. Once this change is made, you’ll be able to create a rich text signature.
